Jon Rahm shoots 12-under 61 | Round 3 | Sentry | 2022

In the third round of the 2022 Sentry Tournament of Champions, Jon Rahm turned in a 12-under 61 to get to 26-under for the tournament, placing him in a tie for the lead with Cameron Smith heading into Sunday.

2022 kicks off in Hawaii at the Sentry Tournament of Champions with 38 of the 39 PGA TOUR winners from the 2021 calendar year teeing it up. Harris English looks to become the first person to successfully defend his title at the tournament since Geoff Ogilvy in 2009 and 2010. World No. 2 Collin Morikawa has a chance to overtake Jon Rahm for the top spot in the Official World Golf Rankings but the Spaniard will be hoping to keep his accolade as he returns to action for the first time since the Fortinet Championship. Xander Schauffele, who won the event in 2019, is in the field thanks to his gold-medal performance in Tokyo Olympics last summer. Other winners of the tournament who are teeing it up again include Justin Thomas (2017 & 2020), Jordan Spieth (2016) and Patrick Reed (2015). Meanwhile, the likes of Cameron Davis, Garrick Higgo and K.H. Lee will make their maiden appearances on the Plantation Course at Kapalua Resort after becoming first-time PGA TOUR winners last year.
